With winter drawing in and your family fighting for control of the thermostat, we thought it was time to warm you up with a fresh new Pandle update.
This time around, we have focused on making it easier for users to correct any potential mistakes which have been made when creating their Bank Rules. Our latest update allows users to easily find and edit all transactions which have been auto-confirmed or auto-ignored by a Bank Rule, with just the click of a button!
But wait, what are Bank Rules again?
We first introduced our Bank Rules feature back in November 2018, enabling users to automatically categorise and assign tax codes to their imported transactions.
As users are also given the option to auto-confirm these transactions, this feature drastically reduces the amount of time they must spend manually checking and confirming their transactions. Which is a great benefit for all the hard-working entrepreneurs out there who never feel there are enough hours in the day! We know the feeling.
Viewing auto-confirmed or ignored Bank Rule transactions
Now although users could still view these transactions prior to this update, we heard from many of you that this wasn’t as easy as it could have been. So, we listened. We’re all about easy to use, intuitive accounting software here at Pandle.
Previously, users would have had to find their auto-confirmed Bank Rule transactions by manually searching for them using the advanced search filter on our View Transactions page, possible but problematic too.
But, not anymore!
Users will now be able to see all the transactions which have been either auto-confirmed or auto-ignored, by each individual Bank Rule. This can be done from the main Bank Rules page, under the Tools menu.
From here, users will now see a ‘View’ icon, simply click this to view all transactions relating to this Bank Rule.
A blue ‘View’ icon indicates that these transactions have been auto-confirmed, and a red ‘View’ icon indicates these transactions have been auto-ignored by the Bank Rule.
Bulk editing auto-confirmed Bank Rule transactions
Once the blue ‘View’ icon has been clicked, users will be able to Bulk Edit their transactions the same way as they would bulk edit transactions from the View Transactions page.
We’ve just taken away the cumbersome first step of finding these transactions within Pandle and instead served them up on a plate for users to edit away.
So, if the wrong tax code or category was selected when creating the Bank Rule, all these transactions can now be edited quickly and easily, all in one go. Nice!
We love to hear feedback from our users on how we can further improve our software to help them speed up the efficiency of their bookkeeping. Got any ideas? Then let us know! You can contact our support team using the Live Chat or email email@example.com.
