  • What bookkeeping records do advertising agencies need to keep?

    As an advertising agency you need to keep all the transactions that come in and out of your business. This includes sales invoices, bank statements, expense receipts, etc. You’ll also need to keep things like privacy compliance records if you’re handling customer data for targeted ads – as well as client and project-specific records. Some of these records need to be kept for 6 years from the end of the last company financial year they relate to – so cloud-based software (such as Pandle – hi there!) is recommended to keep you compliant and organised.

  • Can I export reports to send to other people?

    Yes, you can. View real-time financial reports in Pandle, as well as downloading beautifully presented documents to share with your team, potential investors, or to show your Nan how well you’re doing. You can also choose what format to export your data in, so if Dylan likes rummaging around an Excel spreadsheet, but Sam prefers a colour-coded PDF report, it’s not a problem.

  • What happens to my records at the end of a project?

    When a project is finished, you can mark it as complete. Don’t worry, this doesn’t delete the data – you’ll still be able to refer back to it as and when you need to.
