This month we spoke to Weronika, Director and Owner of Grafa Ltd!
Hi Weronika! Tell us about your business.
I develop brands and design systems across multiple platforms, from print, through digital, to motion. Working with clients big and small I make sure their brand personalities shine and they are able to connect with their audiences in a user-friendly and engaging way.
What particular challenges did you have to overcome in setting up your business, and since then?
My main challenge was registering for VAT and understanding everything that relates to that. My business does not have many VAT expenses, but I had to register when going over the threshold. I am now learning how to add this new layer of information to my invoices and bookkeeping.
How does Pandle fit in?
Pandle helps me with managing my accounts and making sure all transactions are recorded. I also love the handy infographics and overviews of my accounts.
What do you have planned for your business in the future?
My goal is to diversify the pool of companies I’m working with. For the last couple of months I’ve been designing for corporations and I would love to bring in more artistic and education-related briefs. I’m working on achieving this goal by redesigning my website and making it more attractive for the creative clients I want to work with.
In addition to that – in a couple of months I might have to start hiring – this will be a new challenge!
