Hi Simon! Tell us about your business
Jester Laughs creates digital decorations and immersive experiences. We create so we can hopefully spread some magic around the world.
What particular challenges did you have to overcome in setting up your business, and since then?
From the beginning of this journey I’ve had to learn and adapt as I go, as it’s a very niche area and there isn’t any real guidebook to follow.
I soft-launched this business late 2021 with no advertising and the mindset of trying to learn the market and my customers. I was very taken aback by the volume of orders and I had to pause my orders so I could focus on learning the process and market.
There have been many challenges so far but a good situation I found myself in was at 3 am sitting on my laptop at home, controlling someone’s computer who was in the middle of Florida attempting to get a Christmas display running.
How does Pandle fit in?
I’m still new to Pandle, but it makes my business clear and easy to manage.
What do you have planned for your business in the future?
The short-term focus is to keep manufacturing products to expand my catalogue, to expand out to the space of corporate customers, invest in hardware which will give me the ability to offer equipment for hire rather than just purchase, and strengthen the brand name.
