Why do I need to reauthorise Pandle for MTD?
Making Tax Digital rules mean it’s compulsory for VAT registered businesses to keep digital bookkeeping records, and use HMRC compliant software (like Pandle) to make VAT submissions.
You’ll need to authorise the connection between Pandle and your Government Gateway account, and then reauthorise it every 18 months after that.
Reauthorisation helps your data stay more secure, but some providers make the process painful and cumbersome. We don’t want that for our users, thank you very much.
Making the MTD reauthorisation process simpler
A lot can happen in 18 months, so Pandle will show a series of reminders in the run up to your MTD authorisation expiring, to help you keep on top of everything.
The good news is that our latest update makes the process a bit easier, so you can reauthorise your Making Tax Digital credentials without spending time unauthorising it first. Which let’s face it, was annoying.
Now all you need to do is click the ‘Authorise’ button, and follow the on-screen instructions to re-confirm the connection.
