Pandle Update: Improvements to Reports

Time seems to whistle by so quickly sometimes, and it can be difficult to keep track of what day it is. With that in mind, we’ve made some adjustments to help everyone stay up to date. After all, it’s not really a secret that optimising our users’ experience is at the forefront of everything we do here at Pandle HQ.

So let us explain the improvements we have made to how we order and display some of our Reports, helping users get the information they need as efficiently as possible.

VAT submissions ordered newest first by default

Referring to a report or document can be a key factor when making solid business decisions, but just imagine the chaos caused by looking at the wrong one. It happens to the best of us!

To help our users avoid that emotional rollercoaster, we’ve tweaked the way that VAT returns are displayed in Pandle. Users with multiple VAT returns under their Pandle belts will now find their submissions sorted newest first, by default.

It’s just a little something to make bookkeeping simpler. And honestly, the more straightforward we can make MTD compliant VAT submissions, the better for everyone.

Receivables and payables report dates default to ‘today’

Real-time data reports are essential for knowing the financial position of a business. To help our users access their Receivables and Payables reports more easily, we’ve made a slight change so that the report date always defaults to ‘today’ – whatever day that may be – rather than the last date used.

We know that this was sometimes causing confusion for our users, so we hope that this makes things easier. After all, nobody likes to be surprised with supplier payments, or lose sight of unpaid invoices, so we thought simpler access would be another tick for straightforward bookkeeping. There, that’s better.

We’re always adding and refining features to our cloud accounting software for the best possible user experience, even without any bookkeeping training. Learn more about our range of features, or create a free account to get stuck in.
