Latest Update: Running Balances for Customer, Supplier and Bank Accounts

We’ve survived the January drudgery here at Pandle HQ which means it’s time to celebrate with some exciting new Pandle updates.

Our next major feature release isn’t due for release until later this month. However, we’ve decided to drop an update now to start things off with a bang, and simultaneously alleviate those winter blues.

This latest update provides users with more insight into the financial information they can see when viewing their customer, supplier and bank accounts.

After hearing from users, it had become clear that not being able to view running balances, on bank accounts in particular, had become a point of frustration, most notably for our partner accountants. Thus, we’ve taken action, and are happy to announce running balances will now appear for all customer, supplier and bank accounts in Pandle!

To access this information users will simply need to click on a customer, supplier or bank account from the Enter Transactions screen:

From here users can then view detailed financial information on each account, including the running balances, which will now appear on the right hand column:

A current total balance for each account is also still available for users to view at the bottom of the list of transactions:

Resolving issues

The inclusion of running balances in Pandle will help users to resolve any potential discrepancy issues they come across when checking and confirming transactions from their Bank Feed.

Now, users can simply click onto their bank account in Pandle and compare the running balance with their bank statement to determine the last date the two figures matched.

Once users have found this information, then they can quickly and easily check if all transactions from a specific date have been entered correctly, or detect if any transactions are missing.

This will drastically reduce the amount of time users spend resolving any issues with their bank feeds.

Have you checked out running balances in Pandle yet? If so, we’d love to hear your feedback! Please leave us a comment below or email support@pandle.co.uk
