Pandle November Updates

With Christmas on the way we’re dropping our users a few early presents in the form of our November updates.

Catch up on everything we’ve been up to this month below…

New Features

Banking

If you have updated your mobile app recently you may have noticed the changes to the banking screen. These design improvements are in preparation for the bank feeds feature we are currently working on.

PDF Exports

Following on from the Excel exports for reports, we have now released PDF exports. Currently this is available for the profit and loss report, balance sheet report, trial balance and cash flow report, with other reports following shortly.

PayPal Feeds

We’re delighted to announce the release of PayPal feeds in Pandle!

Our PayPal integration will allow you to connect your PayPal account to Pandle so that your transactions are synced ready for categorising them.

Currency conversions will be handled automatically for you along with transfers between sub PayPal accounts in different currencies and transfers from PayPal to your bank account.

Small Changes

  • Audit trails added to quotations following the release for invoicing
  • Mobile app users can now create quotes and invoices for non-UK customers
  • Improved various views in mobile app including where a page does not contain information.

Currently working on…

Pandle Global

The aim of the Global Account is to make Pandle accessible for any base currency. It will facilitate different types of sales tax and will offer multiple languages.

We will also be building dedicated versions for key markets, which will be more customised to the needs of those markets.

Notes

Soon users will be able to create notes anywhere in Pandle and attach them to transactions, customers/suppliers, categories and much more.

Users will then be able to look at an overview of all notes created and either filter or search for previous notes. In the future, we’ll attach reminders to notes and include the ability to leave notes for other users, or for your accountant.

Pandle Organiser

Alongside notes, we’re planning to bring a complete organiser to Pandle. This will include tasks, reminders, a calendar and collaboration tools to communicate in app with your accountant and/or staff members.

Here is a sneak preview of how it will look on mobile:

Dashboard Analytics

We have begun work on some overview data for our Pandle Partners to give insights for their clients on Pandle. These analytics will include company types, VAT registration types, amount of clients added and much more.

Customer Grouping

For those of you who invoice customers the same amount at a similar time, you will soon be able to take advantage of customer grouping.

This will allow you to invoice all customers in a group in one go. You will also be able to set-up recurring invoicing to customer groups as well as individual customers.

Keypad Login

We realise that if you’re invoicing from Pandle Mobile regularly, entering your password each time can become tedious. Therefore, we will shortly be introducing an optional keypad entry function for quick access to Pandle Mobile.

Stock Control

Due to popular request, we will shortly be working on our stock control feature. This will allow users who sell goods to track their stock along with having a real-time stock balance in their stock category.

We are currently drawing up the specifications for this feature and would like to talk to users who sell goods to get their input on how they would like this to work.

If you are interested in offering your input to the developers then please register your interest by contacting us on support@pandle.co.uk.

Receipt Uploading

Soon users will be able to take a picture of their receipts and attach them to their transactions, making filing your Self Assessment a piece of cake.

We plan to make this available in both the Mobile App and the Webapp. Additionally, we are exploring an integration with Receipt Bank in case users also want OCR capabilities.

Bank Feeds

We’re excited to have started working on our new banking feature in Pandle Mobile. This will allow users to receive push notifications each time new banking transactions are fed into Pandle, notifying you that they need to be categorised.

Users will have the ability to categorise transactions through the mobile app, meaning Pandle mobile will be one of a handful of accounting apps that enables you to complete your banking before you get out of bed in the morning!

API

As we continue to work on improving Pandle for users, we have also been busy working away on building our API. We are now working to put together the finishing touches and documentation.
The API will allow potential partners to work with us and build software to integrate with Pandle.

We are looking for users to test our API within the next 4 weeks.

If you’re interested in helping us develop our Pandle services, please send an email to support@pandle.co.uk to register your interest. You’ll then be alerted as soon as it’s made available for testing.
