Happy March everybody! We hope your spring is off to a great start – we certainly can’t wait for those summery days to start rolling in and sunny weather to beam down on Pandle HQ!
This month we’ve been working on our new app, which we hope to be able to bring to you this month.
Here are the rest of the updates we’ve been working on between February and March – don’t forget to leave us your thoughts in the comments below!
New Features
Cash Flow Forecasting
On top of the cash flow reporting for basic users, forecasting allows Pro users to set future cash flow goals and view trends in your cash flow which should lead to better, more informed business decisions being made. Even more options are planned for future updates of this feature.
Dividend Availability and Vouchers
For those users with limited companies we now provide a dashboard to show you a corporation tax estimate along with an estimate of how much can be taken from your company in dividends (assuming transactions are up to date).
Shortcut Menu
There is now a shortcut ‘+’ icon in the top right of Pandle which will allow you to quickly add customers/suppliers, create invoices and much more.
If you would like to see any other shortcuts in this menu, let us know in either the comments below or by getting in touch on our support email address.
Small Changes
✓ Repositioned cash flow chart legend
✓ Fixed CSV export bug in reporting
Currently working on…
Pandle App
The developers are working on our mobile app at the moment which will allow users to create and send quotes and invoices and complete their banking.
Firstly we will be releasing invoicing, with quotations, banking and other features to be released later down the line.
Split Transactions
At the moment, if you have a bank transaction which relates to separate categories then it is not possible to enter it properly in Pandle. For example, if you a pay your stationery supplier who invoices you for paper and also a printer you would need to separate the categories (and possibly the VAT treatment) for each item. We will shortly be working to make this process easier.
PDF Exports
We have Excel exports for all of our reporting but there are places where PDF reports are not available. We will be working on adding professional PDF exports for our reporting which can be printed or downloaded.
Customer/Supplier Credit Limits
This function will alert you if you are entering invoices which push the customer/supplier’s balance above the agreed credit limit.
Pandle Global Account
We will soon be opening up Pandle to the rest of the world with a global Pandle account which can be used in any base currency, will facilitate different types of sales tax and will offer multiple languages. We will also be building dedicated versions for key markets which will be much more customised to the needs of those markets.
VAT/EC Sales List Submissions
We are currently working with HMRC to allow Pandle to submit the VAT returns and EC sales lists straight from Pandle. This will mean users will not have to enter the figures into the HMRC portal.
User Permissions
A popular request is to restrict certain users of a Pandle account from seeing certain information. So, for example, if you have an employee who creates the customer invoices but you do not want them to see the banking information then you will be able to set permissions to reflect this.
